Our Trainer
It all started when…
Libby has had a passion for dogs for as long as anyone who knows her can remember. As a kid & teenager, her love was dedicated to riding, showing, and training horses. Her love for animals is what brought her to The Ohio State University, where she received a Bachelors in Animal Sciences with a minor in Agricultural Communications. After she adopted her first dog (Squirt), she discovered her passion for training as well as a new purpose- to help owners live life to the fullest with their dogs. Libby attended National K9’s dog training school and became a certified professional trainer with endorsements in Basic Obedience, Advanced Obedience, Behavior Modification, Utility, Breed Identification, Puppy Development, Tracking, Scent Detection, Personal Protection, Police K-9, Assistance Dog, and Retrieval. Libby has been training professionally for 8 years now and has a wide variety of experience with many different behavioral issues, breeds, and specialties. She strongly believes that there are no bad dogs and loves to help people find and unlock their dogs hidden potential. One of her favorite hobbies is traveling and hiking with her pack. She continues to further her education in dog training by training and competing in dog sports and attending seminars. Libby works closely with a German Shepherd rescue, and loves helping dogs learn the skills they need to thrive in their new homes.
